Carmelo Hayes Attacks Ilja Dragunov After Brutal Match On WWE NXT

Tonight on NXT, when Hayes first refused to explain his actions, Ilja Dragunov came out and demanded he explain why he blamed him for attacking Trick Williams months ago. However, Dijak came out and confronted Dragunov before attacking him thereby setting up a match between both men.

Hayes later explained that the reason he turned on Williams was because he went after the NXT Championship. He also admitted that he was the one who attacked Williams months ago. Hayes then reminded Williams that they were not on the same level.

Dragunov then faced Dijak in the main event of the show. Both men put on an amazing match that ended with Dragunov as the victor. However, before the NXT Champion could celebrate his victory, he was ambushed from behind by Carmelo Hayes. Hayes then assaulted and stood tall with the NXT Championship to close out the show.

It looks like we know what Carmelo Hayes has in mind. However, this is a different Hayes from the one that lost the title to Ilja Dragunov. Hence, the NXT Champion should tread carefully. Stay tuned to Ringside News as we bring you live coverage of WWE NXT.
