The viewership numbers for the February 3rd edition of AEW Collision on TNT have been revealed, and they show a notable increase in viewership compared to the previous week.
According to WrestleNomics, the program garnered 404,000 viewers, marking a 35% uptick from the January 27th episode, which had only attracted 300,000 viewers. It’s important to note that the January 27th episode was up against WWE’s Royal Rumble event, which likely impacted its viewership.
The February 3rd episode also achieved a 0.12 rating in the coveted 18-49 demographic, which was a significant improvement compared to the previous Saturday’s 0.06 demo rating.
It’s worth mentioning that AEW Collision faced stiff competition from the NBA, as the Los Angeles Lakers vs. New York Knicks game on ABC drew in a substantial 2,743,000 viewers with a 0.71 demo rating.
The episode of Collision featured exciting matchups, including Eddie Kingston taking on Bryan Keith in singles action, which resulted in Kingston winning and getting the Bounty Hunter signed to AEW. Additionally, Bryan Danielson and CMLL star Hechicero squared off, further intensifying the feud between the Blackpool Combat Club and the invading luchadores.
