Vince McMahon Accused of Being Disrespectful About Brodie Lee After His Passing

The world of professional wrestling suffered great loss with the passing of Brodie Lee. Many stories about how great of a human being Lee was shared over the past few years, as people truly knew his worth. It appears he was allegedly disrespected by Vince McMahon after his passing.

Brodie Lee passed away on December 26th, 2020, due to idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, a rare condition that causes lung tissue to become irreversibly thickened and stiff. Even now, people continue to remember Brodie Lee.

Brodie Lee was hailed as the greatest TNT Champion of all time thanks to just how wonderfully he was booked as the champion – defeating Cody Rhodes in a squash match to win it.

On the latest edition of Cafe De Rene, former WWE star Viktor claimed that Vince McMahon was disrespectful towards Brodie Lee after his passing. Viktor expressed losing respect for McMahon, stating that he heard McMahon made remarks that were not very becoming of him following Lee’s death. According to Viktor, Lee had tried to establish a familial connection with McMahon, but it was not reciprocated.

“I lost a lot of respect for him after Brodie Lee passed away because I heard he made some remarks to people that were not very becoming of him. I knew how much Brodie had tried to really just be a person with Vince and really make WWE his family, and Vince just wouldn’t have it. Like, he just hated him for some reason.”

Viktor provided further details on McMahon’s alleged reaction to Brodie Lee’s passing, expressing surprise at McMahon’s indifference and annoyance at people caring about it. This information led Viktor to conclude that if McMahon was going to be the person running the company, he had no desire to work for him again.

“I was really surprised at how Vince took Brodie’s death and how little he cared, How much it pi**ed him off that people did care about it. So once I heard that, I was just kind of like, ‘Well if that’s going to be the guy running a company, I don’t ever want to work for him again.'”

Seth Rollins also recently honored Brodie Lee during WWE house show. Brodie Lee’s contributions to the pro wrestling world will never be forgotten. This is because fans and peers alike will always remember him in one way or the other.
