WWE has been blown away with the arrival of a huge Storm and her name is Jade Cargill. The former AEW star recently made her WWE debut at the 2024 Royal Rumble event and revealed an intriguing detail regarding her first in-ring appearance for the global juggernaut.

Jade Cargill signed with WWE in September 2023, following a remarkable run in Tony Khan’s AEW with a year-long run as the TBS Women’s champion. She made a few appearances on every WWE brand, before her official debut.

She came out as a surprise entrant in the Women’s Royal Rumble match at #28 to a thunderous ovation by the WWE Universe. Displaying an excellent showing, Cargill managed to score 3 eliminations, tossing out stars like Naomi and Becky Lynch over the top rope.

In a recent clip released by WWE on Instagram, Jade talks about spoke about the two women she eliminated. The former AEW star mentioned that she looked up to Naomi when she entered the business and commanded a high level of respect for the work Becky Lynch did to pave the way for the Women’s Revolution.

“Naomi is somebody I look up to … you know, I watched her wrestling when I first got into the business, it felt amazing and the fact that Becky Lynch has been killing things for years … to go out there and eliminate those two … it was something I knew I was going to do.”

With an impressive start to her WWE career, it would be interesting to see how things pan out for Jade Cargill as she is yet to sign with one of WWE’s television brands.
