Initially slated to headline WrestleMania 40 against Roman Reigns after winning the Royal Rumble, Cody Rhodes appears to have been replaced by The Rock and is now getting support from many people including comedian Gabriel Iglesias.
The latest WWE SmackDown episode concluded with tension as The Rock confronted Roman Reigns. Cody Rhodes introduced the Hollywood megastar into the scene, seemingly relinquishing his WrestleMania 40 title shot, leading to divided opinions among fans.
Fans are voicing frustration over WWE’s decision, expressing disappointment that the top babyface had to step aside for a part-timer. Despite WWE’s reasoning for the WrestleMania 40 match, some fans remain dissatisfied.
Amid all the discussions and online backlash, comedian Gabriel Iglesias took to Twitter and uploaded a photo of himself alongside Cody Rhodes, making it clear he is supporting The American Nightmare.

Fans also rallied for The Rock to give Cody Rhodes his WrestleMania 40 spot back as well. Cody Rhodes’ WrestleMania 40 direction has also been revealed. It remains to be seen how WrestleMania 40 will turn out, considering so many changes took place.
