Mickie James competed in TNA for the past couple of years before she parted ways with the promotion last year. While she is still a free agent, it appears she has hinted at returning to WWE recently.
Nick Aldis is currently the SmackDown general manager and has done a lot for the brand already. This past week, Aldis not only convinced Naomi to sign with the blue brand but also disclosed that former NXT Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton has joined the SmackDown roster.
Mickie James responded on Twitter to a post suggesting that these signings were Nick Aldis’ most epic decisions since marrying Mickie James. This prompted Mickie James to tease a WWE return as well.
”Ummm… Thank you? 😳 Ps @RealNickAldis if you’re handing out contracts… I might know someone. 🤠 #foreverworker”
Nick Aldis responded to what Mickie James said and used a GIF of Steve Blackman to convey his message.
”Waaay ahead of you babe”
Besides her potential WWE tease, Mickie James has been working as Creative Director, Head of Female Talent and Executive Producer for all OVW shows. We’ll have to see if Mickie James will end up returning to WWE after her departure a few years ago.
