According to Programming Insider, the preliminary numbers for WWE SmackDown on February 2 recorded 2.314 million viewers. This figure is slightly lower than the 2.329 million viewers SmackDown garnered the previous Friday. The viewership for January 26 reached a record 2.475 million in the final tally.
This week’s show achieved a 0.66 rating in the 18 to 49 preliminary demo, showing an increase from the 0.64 preliminary rating the previous Friday. The final rating for the previous Friday was 0.71 in the 18 to 49 demo.
The Rock confronted Roman Reigns on SmackDown this week after Cody Rhodes confirmed he won’t face Reigns at WrestleMania. We’ll have to see what WWE will have planned for next week’s show, as the ratings will be reflected in their decision.
