Vince McMahon’s name has made headlines for all the wrong reasons after he got slapped with a sexual trafficking lawsuit from a former WWE employee. Now he has been compared to Harvey Weinstein.

Vince McMahon is currently facing allegations of sexual trafficking and misconduct brought forth by former WWE employee Janel Grant. In her lawsuit, Grant asserts that McMahon distributed explicit content of her without consent, involving other WWE personnel, undisclosed executives, and wrestling stars.

After the sexual trafficking lawsuit, Vince McMahon formally stepped down from WWE and TKO Holdings. McMahon pledged to contest the allegations, asserting that they were entirely without merit.

In case you didn’t know, a Federal inquiry has been launched into Vince McMahon’s lawsuit. During this week’s episode of Smack Talk, Mantell mentioned that federal investigators likely had valid reasons to go after Mr. McMahon. The former WWE employee detailed that this issue could escalate and parallel the Harvey Weinstein case from the past.

“See they [federal investigators] don’t do it for just no reason. What I’m seeing here, we could have a Harvey Weinstein example coming out of this… He’s in prison, right? Much the same circumstances I might add.”

TKO was also aware of Vince McMahon’s allegations since their merger last year. Triple H was also reportedly aware of Vince McMahon’s scandal. It remains to be seen what will become of Vince McMahon in the end.
