The landscape of WWE’s women’s division on Friday Night SmackDown has changed with the arrival of Tiffy time, i.e. former NXT Women’s champion Tiffany Stratton.
Tiffany had emerged as one of the top prospects in WWE’s developmental territory, NXT. She reigned as their Women’s champion, battling the likes of Kiana James, Lyra Valkyria, and even The Man Becky Lynch.
Tiffany’s impressive tenure in WWE NXT led to her surprise appearance in the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble match. She did not win the 30-woman over-the-top-rope melee, yet managed to leave a mark on the WWE Universe.
This week on SmackDown, Tiffany Stratton was revealed to be the newest signee to the blue brand and went straight up to the locker room members, Bianca Belair, Shotzi, and Michin, slapping the latter in the process.
This altercation led to General Manager Nick Aldis booking Stratton’s debut match against Michin. She put up a valiant effort and executed her jaw-dropping moonsault in the end to pick up the win in her first match on SmackDown. She took to her Instagram to reflect on her amazing night, signaling the start of ‘Tiffy Time’ on Friday Nights.
“ITS ABOUT DANG (TIFFY) TIME💅🏼.”
With Tiffany Stratton off to a great start on SmackDown, it will be interesting to see her tenure unfold on the blue brand, now that she is a part of the big leagues.
