AEW made headlines last year after Cash Wheeler got arrested on aggravated assault with a firearm. Now it appears he is finally facing charges in the aforementioned case as well.
The arrest stemmed from serious charge of aggravated assault involving a firearm, an incident that transpired back on July 28. The alleged victim claimed Cash Wheeler brandished a firearm and threatened him. A warrant for Wheeler’s arrest was issued the following day.
It was further reported that Wheeler pleaded not guilty via his attorney on August 3rd. He was subsequently released on a $2,500 bond and was required to relinquish all of his firearms to the authorities
Ringside News has obtained the court document, where it was revealed that the State of Florida filed an official charge against Cash Wheeler for the aforementioned aggravated assault case.
‘‘IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OPINE STATE OF FLORIDA: ANDREW ASHER BAIN, State Attorney of the Ninth Judicial Circuit prosecuting for the State of Florida in Orange County, by and through the undersigned Designated Assistant State Attorney. under oath, CHARGES that DANIEL MARSHALL WHEELER, on or about the 27th day of July, 2023, in said County and State, did, in violation of Florida Statute 784.021(1)(a), make an assault up!oo DANIEL MATTA. with a &cam, a deadly weapon, and in furtherance of said assault DANIEL MARSHALL WHEELER did intentionally One.° to do violowe to DANIEL MA TA with said firearm. thus orating a well founded fear in DANIEL MATTA that such violenos was imminent.”
