Trick Williams Felt Crowd Reaction For WWE SmackDown Debut Was a ‘Dream Come True’

WWE’s NXT roster boasts several individuals on the brink of greatness and poised to become breakout stars. Trick Williams is among them, showcasing significant growth and making a name for himself on NXT. Williams also appeared on the main roster last week and now he admitted that the crowd reaction he got from his debut was a dream come true.

In the lead-up to the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event, the WWE SmackDown go-home edition occurred in Miami, Florida. One of the highlighted matches was a rematch between Carmelo Hayes and Austin Theory, with Theory securing the victory.

Following the match, Theory and Grayson Waller attacked Hayes. Trick Williams would then make his main roster appearance on the show and received a warm welcome from the Miami audience as he came to the rescue and saved Hayes from the assault.

While speaking on Busted Open Radio, Trick Williams talked about the crowd reaction he got from his debut, as he went on to describe it as a ‘dream come true’ for good reason.

”Honestly, it’s a dream come true (reaction he received at 1/26 WWE SmackDown). I think that’s the feeling that every wrestler wants to feel. Running out when you hear your music being played. So, beyond my imagination. Who thinks their first debut is gonna sound like that? So, I’m grateful for.’

WWE also sees Trick Williams as a potential WrestleMania main eventer. Additionally, Williams is scheduled to face Ilja Dragunov for the NXT Championship in the main event of the Premium Live Event. It remains to be seen whether Trick Williams will eventually become a permanent fixture of the main roster somewhere down the line.
