AEW has one of the most talented in-ring roster members in the entire world, with Roderick Strong being a top prospect. The former WWE star is emerging up the ranks and called his current home as a passion project.

During a recent interview with KSLA News 12, he had massive for AEW President Tony Khan and the entire locker room. Strong also credited the company for becoming a major wrestling promotion in only five years, claiming it to be a team effort.

“AEW, for me, and this is my personal opinion on it, is a passion project. Not just from our boss, Tony Khan, who is one of the most passionate wrestling coaches fans, bosses that I’ve ever met in my career, but the whole locker room, it’s a whole group effort, and we’re all coming together from something that, you know, that a company that was created just five years ago, and to where the stage we are now, like it’s just a, it’s a team effort and it’s amazing.” 

Roderick Strong began his career in the independent circuit, before gaining prominence in WWE in 2016. He was a part of the popular faction, The Undisputed Era alongside Kyle O Reilly, Bobby Fish, and Adam Cole.

He later on signed with AEW in 2023 and is currently a member of the new faction, The Undisputed Kingdom, reuniting with Adam Cole and joined by other members, Matt Taven and Mike Bennett.

Roderick Strong is scheduled to battle AEW International Champion, Orange Cassidy for the title at the company’s next pay-per-view, AEW Revolution on March 3, 2024. As a reminder, Ringside News will have live play-by-play coverage of the event.
