Maxwell Jacob Friedman has completed filming for his latest project, a Jewish summer camp comedy titled “The Floaters.”

The film, shot in New York, features MJF as one of its stars and has an ensemble cast including Jackie Tohn, Sarah Podemski, Aya Cash, Judah Lewis, Nina Bloomgarden, Jake Ryan, and Seth Green.

“The Floaters” follows the story of Nomi (played by Jackie Tohn), a struggling musician who takes on a unique job, mentored by her overachieving best friend Mara (played by Sarah Podemski), to guide the “Floaters,” misfit campers, at their childhood Jewish summer camp. The camp faces challenges as it competes with a long-standing rival, and Nomi, the Floaters, and Mara must come together to save the camp and unite the community.

While MJF has been absent from AEW television since losing the AEW World Title to Samoa Joe at AEW Worlds End, his involvement in this film project has kept him busy.
