Living Colour Wishes CM Punk a Speedy Recovery

CM Punk was laser-focused on achieving his lifelong goal of main-eventing WrestleMania since his shocking return to WWE in November 2023. However, an unfortunate injury derailed his plans, taking him out of the WrestleMania 40 plans.

The entire wrestling world sent their wishes for his recovery including the popular music band, Living Colour. The group took to their official Instagram to convey their healing vibes with a throwback picture from one of their concerts with Punk on the stage with them. Punk acknowledged them by reposting the same on his Instagram story.

“Sending love and healing vibes to our homie, CM Punk! #CMPunk#LivingColour#CultOfPersonality.”

For the unaware, Living Colour provided the official theme song for CM Punk, ‘Cult of Personality’ first in 2011, that has been popularly termed as the ‘Summer of Punk.’

Upon his return to WWE at Survivor Series, Punk adopted the remastered version of the track as his new entrance music by the band, with the crowd being blown away each time the hear the song.

CM Punk suffered a torn triceps injury at the 2024 Royal Rumble match and would not be competing at WrestleMania 40 as he confirmed on this week’s edition of Monday Night RAW.

While the Voice of the Voiceless may not be able to make it at this year’s Show of Shows, the WWE Universe patiently awaits the next time they hear Cult of Personality and CM Punk stepping through the WWE curtains to continue his resurgence.
