Bayley’s WrestleMania Goal Hasn’t Changed After Nia Jax’s Warning on 1/29 WWE RAW

At the 2024 Royal Rumble match, Bayley was able to outlast 20 other women and win the match thereby punching her ticket to WrestleMania 40. Prior to the Rumble, Bayley had indicated that she planned on challenging Rhea Ripley if she won the Royal Rumble.

On the 1/29 episode of WWE RAW, Bayley was in the ring with her Damage CTRL stablemates. Just when it looked like she was going to announce who she would face at WrestleMania 40, Rhea Ripley came out and warned her against challenging her for the title.

However, Nia Jax jumped Ripley from behind and then laid her out in the ring. Following his vicious assault, Jax warned the Role Model against challenging Rhea for the Women’s World Championship. Bayley then stated that she would make her decision on the 2/2 episode of WWE SmackDown.

Meanwhile, Bayley did an interview with WWE’s The Bump where she stated that she’s dealt with Nia before and even beaten her in the past.

“First of all, what would you do if Nia Jax was walking towards you? You would run for your life, okay? Damage CTRL saw that I can handle myself against 29 other women at the Royal Rumble, so they weren’t worried about me. I’ve dealt with Nia so many times. I’ve beaten her in the past, okay. I knew she wasn’t there for me, she was there for Rhea Ripley.“

Bayley continued to say that her WrestleMania goals remain the same indicating that she is still planning on facing Rhea Ripley.

“To me, my goal stays the same. Like I said on Monday, you’ve never seen anything like Damage CTRL before, you’ve never seen a lineage of all these champions in the ring at once, a Royal Rumble winner in the ring at once. This handful of talent, it’s never been done before. That’s gonna continue. When I make my decision on Friday, it’s gonna continue at WrestleMania when we’re all champions, when we’re all holding gold, and nobody can deny us because we’re on top of the world.”
