Kevin Owens Turns Hype Man For Becky Lynch After Her Royal Rumble Defeat

Becky Lynch had her set sights on becoming a two-time Royal Rumble winner, much like The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes did this past weekend. However, The Man came up short in her quest to earn the opportunity to once again headline WrestleMania.

But a hype man in the form of Becky’s friend, Kevin Owens showed up to motivate the history maker. A video on her Instagram showed Lynch sitting in the locker room unmotivated and depressed following her failure to clinch the win at the Rumble.

At that very moment, Kevin Owens arrived on the scene to check on the multi-time WWE Women’s champion. After being questioned by KO, Lynch expressed her disappointment about being unable to win the Royal Rumble match and feeling directionless on the road to WrestleMania.

Moreover, she was spotted eating chocolates, something Kevin Owens pointed out that he had never seen her do. As Becky’s tone of dejection went down and down, the Prize Fighter decided to hype her up and remind her who Becky Lynch was.

He hyped The Man to get going and fight for her goals like she has always done. That motivated Becky Lynch enough to get up and get moving mentioning Owens as her Mickey, while he was seen enjoying the chocolates left behind by Lynch.

“Even Rocky Balboa needed a Mickey.”

With her newfound hype man and his first lesson of motivation, it will be interesting to see what Becky Lynch does as Monday Night RAW rolls into Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida.
