Vince McMahon is facing a slew of sexual trafficking allegations from a former WWE employee and this opened up a can of worms for McMahon, resulting in unforeseen consequences. Interestingly enough, Triple H didn’t properly address questions regarding McMahon’s allegations.
Vince McMahon faces serious allegations of sexual trafficking and misconduct from ex-WWE employee Janel Grant. The lawsuit alleges that McMahon shared explicit content of Grant without consent, involving other WWE employees, unnamed executives, and stars, and directed her to engage in sexual activities with them.
After the sexual trafficking lawsuit, Vince McMahon officially resigned from WWE and TKO Holdings. McMahon also made it clear that he would fight the aforementioned allegations while denying the said allegations.
While speaking during the post-Royal Rumble Premium Live Event press conference, Triple H was asked what degree of knowledge he had regarding Vince McMahon’s allegations. Triple H essentially refused to speak out on it and simply wanted to focus on the positive aspects of WWE.
”What exactly do you expect me to do here? Look. We just had an amazing week, just had a 10-year, $5 billion deal. Rock joining our board, we sold out the Royal Rumble. I choose to focus on the positive, yes there is a negative, but I just wanna focus on that and keep it to that.”
On the other hand, Cody Rhodes admitted that Vince McMahon’s allegations were a dark cloud for WWE. McMahon was also removed from WWE’s website following his resignation. It remains to be seen how WWE will carry forward now that McMahon is gone for good.
