Roman Reigns Reacts to Cody Rhodes’ 2024 WWE Royal Rumble Win

Roman Reigns has solidified his status as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time, but his historic run as champion might be coming to an end this year as Cody Rhodes won the Royal Rumble. Now, Roman Reigns has reacted to Rhodes’ win.

Cody Rhodes made it clear he planned to target Roman Reigns once again after winning the 2024 Royal Rumble. Reigns, positioned in the stands above, had the best possible vantage point to witness the challenge.

After losing to Roman Reigns in the main event of WrestleMania 39 last year, The American Nightmare had been on a mission to get a rematch from Reigns. This eventually led to him competing in the Royal Rumble match. He ultimately eliminated CM Punk and punched his ticket to WrestleMania 40.

WWE shared a reel on Instagram capturing Roman Reigns’ live reaction after witnessing Cody Rhodes become the first back-to-back Royal Rumble winner in 26 years. Reigns was clearly concerned as it looked like he had seen a ghost, before breaking into a smile.

The past year has marked a monumental journey for The American Nightmare, which will once again culminate in the main event of the Grandest Stage of Them All this year. It remains to be seen whether Cody Rhodes will finally be able to finish the story this time around.
