The 2024 edition of the Royal Rumble pay-per-view was an action-packed and exhilarating night for WWE. Along with exciting matches and moments, multiple wrestling legends and Hall of Famers were in attendance for the show.
According to a report by PWInsider, there were legendary names present backstage for the Royal Rumble. Those included Brian Blair, Dory Funk Jr., Marti Funk, Gerald Brisco, Steve Keirn, and even Bray Wyatt’s father, Mike Rotunda.

The show witnessed some enthralling moments to remember for the ages, starting with Bayley’s hard-fought Royal Rumble victory. This was followed by the Tribal Chief smashing three top stars in LA Knight, AJ Styles, and Randy Orton to retain his Undisputed WWE Universal championship.
The highlight of the night was The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes winning the Men’s Royal Rumble for the second time in a row, punching his ticket for a World Championship match at WrestleMania 40, and taking the first step towards his ultimate goal, finishing the story.
Speaking of Cody, after the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event went off the air, new footage revealed Cody Rhodes celebrating with WWE Hall of Famer DDP while Rhodes was making his way to the back.
