One of the biggest signings of 2023 was Jade Cargill. Jade dominated the AEW women’s division during her reign as TBS Champion.
Jade Cargill held the title for 500+ days and remained undefeated in over 50 matches until she lost the title to Kris Statlander. Although Jade mostly competed against the mid-card of the AEW women’s division, she proved to be a powerhouse in the ring.
Hence, when it was revealed that she signed with WWE, it was a big deal. The company even spared no time in promoting her signing on all the shows as well as social media. She made appearances on RAW, SmackDown, and even NXT before she was taken off TV.
However, with the Royal Rumble around the corner, there have been reports that Cargill could end up making her WWE in-ring debut in the Women’s Royal Rumble match.
After months of speculation, Jade Cargill finally showed up as the number 28 entrant in the women’s Royal Rumble match. Despite it being her in-ring debut, she went straight after Nia Jax and even slammed as the crowd went wild. She even single-handedly eliminated Nia Jax from the match. So far, her debut is already off to the right start.
Considering Jade Cargill’s dominating performance in the Royal Rumble and the heavy push she has received since joining WWE, the future looks bright for the former AEW star. Stay tuned to Ringside News as we bring you live coverage of the 2024 Royal Rumble.
