Andrade El Idolo Makes Surprise Return During 2024 WWE Royal Rumble

Andrade El Idolo started in WWE career in NXT. His impressive performances in the ring enabled him to win the NXT Championship.

However, once Andrade was moved to the main roster, he struggled to get over despite putting on good matches. This resulted in him leaving the company. After his departure from WWE, Andrade joined AEW.

Unfortunately for Andrade, his AEW fell through pretty quickly despite being pushed initially with the formation of a new faction with RUSH. After his AEW run went nowhere, Andrade left the company.

Since then, there have been rumors that Andrade will be returning to WWE, and what perfect opportunity for him to return than at the Royal Rumble. Andrade returned as one of the early entrants to a huge pop from the crowd. He wore his mask while entering the match but took it off before he could enter the ring.
