TNA Xplosion was launched in 2002 as the company’s first regular cable TV show. Over the next few years, Xplosion would continue to feature matches and exclusive interviews with the talent.
The show underwent a major change in 2004 when it was changed to serve as a recap of the previous week’s episode of Impact before it would continue to air matches again a year later.
TNA Xplosion continued to be a regular weekly show even as the company underwent major changes in management and branding. However, in 2021, it was reported that she show was cancelled.
Now, three years later, as the company underwent another transition, TNA Xplosion is back. The company posted on social media that Xplosion will stream on TNA+ every Friday with the recap being uploaded to YouTube the following week. TNA also confirmed that there will be two new matches every week and will feature exclusive segments like Around the Ring.
“BREAKING: #Xplosion is BACK – with two new matches every week and exclusive segments like Around the Ring with @MeanGiaMiller. Episodes will premiere first for subscribers on TNA+ every Friday, becoming available for free on YouTube on Tuesdays.”
This comes after IMPACT Wrestling rebranded itself to TNA earlier this year. It seems like the company is definitely trying to roll back the clock with this list of changes.
