The Rock’s Daughter Ava Raine Makes Surprise Appearance on SmackDown

The Rock’s daughter and current NXT star, Ava Raine has been making the news with her recent antics and a game-changing announcement on WWE NXT last week. However, she decided to keep the momentum going just a few days later too.

As announced, Ava Raine was named the newest and youngest General Manager of NXT. She then made a surprise appearance on this week’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown and was seen backstage with SmackDown GM Nick Aldis.

Moreover, Bobby Lashley was also spotted entering the locker room, to draw his number for the upcoming Royal Rumble match on Saturday, as Nick and Ava began their interaction.

Furthermore, Michael Cole noted on commentary that WWE NXT stars would also be a part of the Royal Rumble matches. This could explain Ava Raine’s appearance on SmackDown, possibly discussing which top prospects would enter the 30-person over-the-top-melee from the yellow brand, as she sits at the helm of the decisions.
