Rhea Ripley Claims She Was Almost Fired Multiple Times in WWE

Rhea Ripley has worked very hard to become one of the top female Superstars in WWE. Surprisingly enough, Ripley has now claimed that she was almost fired multiple times in WWE.

Back in her early days in WWE, the Women’s World Champion had a notably different appearance from her current look. This was obviously different from her instantly recognizable gothic appearance now.

While speaking to The Ringer, Ripley revealed that her initial generic presentation, similar to others in the women’s locker room at that time, did not receive favorable reactions backstage.

The Eradicator then revealed that she was on the verge of getting fired from WWE multiple times, adding that she didn’t know if WWE wanted her to know that.

“I was on the chopping block. I nearly got fired a few times. I don’t know if they wanted me to know that, but I did know that.”

Rhea Ripley previously admitted that the women’s division suffered while she was busy fighting men. Regardless, we’ll have to see how WWE will continue to book Ripley as we approach the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event on January 27th.
