GUNTHER Hopes To Start The Royal Rumble Match as #1 Entry

Ever since winning the Intercontinental Championship over a year ago, GUNTHER has been tearing it up in the ring. He has proven himself to be one of the most destructive champions in WWE history.

GUNTHER has shown that he is ready to face anyone anywhere. GUNTHER’s dominance is evident in the fact that even though he has challengers gunning for him, he has still managed to become the longest-reigning Intercontinental Champion of all time.

With the Royal Rumble just a few days away, it should come as no surprise that GUNTHER is one of the favorites to win it all this year. Last year, the Ring General delivered a standout performance as he entered the Rumble in the number one spot and finished in 2nd place.

During a recent edition of WWE Playback, GUNTHER stated that he wants to enter the number one spot in the Royal Rumble as it’s very accurate for someone like him.

“See that if I have to say, I always said if I’m ever participating in a Royal Rumble match, I want to be in at number one. Because if you come in as thirty, and you win it, it’s basically a present. The number one really has to earn it. I think it’s a very accurate entrance for a person for my stature.”

GUNTHER will have the chance to add another accolade to his already storied career when he competes against 29 other Superstars in the Royal Rumble match.
