Jacob Fatu is one of the most well-known names in the Indy wrestling scene. Jacob made a name for himself in Major League Wrestling where he is a former MLW World Heavyweight Champion.

Jacob recently made his debut for New Japan Pro Wrestling at the Battle in the Valley. He is the cousin of legendary WWE tag team The Usos and is also related to The Rock and Roman Reigns.

Although he shares the same bloodline as Roman Reigns and the Usos, Jacob is yet to sign a WWE contract due to his tumultuous past where he was arrested for robbery at the age of 18. However, it seems like someone is fighting for him.

Booker T recently stated on his Hall of Fame podcast that he is working on getting Jacob Fatu signed to WWE after seeing his work on the Indies.

“That’s my game plan. I’m working as hard as I possibly can. Let me just say it right now. I’m giving a big shout out to Jacob Fatu. This is a guy who’s been working his ass off out there on the indie scene, grinding.”

“The thing is, sometimes we make mistakes, but when we atone for those mistakes, that’s when somebody just needs to give you a chance, and for me, someone gave me a chance and look what it’s done for me. Someone needs to give Jacob Fatu a chance and I’m going to be working in his corner as his advisor to get him all the way to that next level and over it if we possibly can. Jacob, if you’re listening to this, just stick with me on this ride.”

It isn’t surprising that Booker T is the one extending his hand to help Jacob Fatu. Booker also has a similar past where he was also arrested and did time. However, Booker was given a second chance to turn his life around and wishes the same for Fatu.
