Anthony Bowens Nominated for Sports Hero Award in 2024

Anthony Bowens started his AEW career as part of the popular tag team The Acclaimed. Together with Max Caster, The Acclaimed has grown to become one of the best homegrown tag teams in AEW.

They even captured the AEW Tag Team Titles and are the current AEW World Trios Champions along with Billy Gunn. Recently, The Acclaimed joined forces with Bullet Club Gold to form the Bang Bang Scissor Gang.

Anthony Bowens is also an openly gay person in his personal life and stands up for gay rights. He has become an inspiration of sorts for the queer community and he is being honored for it.

Anthony Bowens recently took to social media to announce that he is being nominated for Sports Hero of the Year at the 2024 Queerties Awards. He also asked his fans to cast their vote for him.

“Hello @AEW fans, I’ve been nominated for Sports Hero of the year! If you love the bang bang scissor gang, you can cast your for me in the link below!”

If Anthony Bowens wins this award, it will be another feather in his cap and prove that he is an inspiration for a lot of people, especially those in the gay community.
