Sami Callihan Still a Free Agent Despite Recent Appearances for MLW

After he departed from TNA Wrestling, Sami Callihan was known as one of the hottest free agents in professional wrestling. This isn’t surprising because Sami was one of the top stars in TNA during his tenure in the company.

Sami Callihan was involved in many important storylines and shared the ring with some of the company’s biggest names. He was also a beloved figure amongst the fans and even won the Impact World Championship. Hence, TNA fans were upset when his deal with the company ended last year.

Following his time in TNA, Sami appeared a couple of times for Major League Wrestling prompting the rumors that he might sign with the company. According to Fightful Select, it turns out that Sami Callihan is still a free agent. It is reported by a source within MLW that Sami is still not under contract with MLW despite making a few appearances for them.

Sami and MLW are currently operating on a handshake agreement without official paperwork. It is also reported that there was an offer on the table for Sami but he chose to appear on a per-appearance basis. Sami is also in talks with multiple promotions other than MLW.

It looks like Sami Callihan is keeping his choices open when it comes to his future which explains why he has not signed a deal with MLW yet. But based on his work in TNA, the future looks bright for the former Impact World Champion. Stay tuned to Ringside News as we follow up on this story.
