Drew McIntyre Plans to Make CM Punk Crack When They Step Into The Ring

CM Punk shocked the world when he made his return to the WWE at the end of Survivor Series: WarGames. Since then, Punk has made his intentions clear that he plans on winning the Royal Rumble match before headlining WrestleMania.

CM Punk’s return to the company was met with a loud positive reaction from the crowd. However, there were a few WWE Superstars who were unhappy to see the Straight Edge Superstar back in the company.

One of those superstars is Seth Rollins who came face-to-face with Punk a few weeks ago. Another Superstar who has voiced his frustration over Punk’s return is Drew McIntyre.

The Scottish Psychopath was interviewed by ReviewSTL where he revealed that he plans to make CM Punk crack when they step into the ring together.

“CM Punk, the most controversial guy in wrestling for sure, has made his return. Seems very positive right now, the crowd are certainly very positive, he’s a huge star, and I’m going to keep prodding at him and see if he cracks. Hopefully, if he doesn’t, he gets in the ring with me, and then I’ll physically crack him. Easy peasy.”

Drew McIntyre will have his opportunity to face Punk at the 2024 Royal Rumble as both Superstars will be competing in the Royal Rumble match.
