Cody Rhodes Very Unlikely to Headline WWE WrestleMania 40

Cody Rhodes has just one goal in mind and that’s to finish the story and become the World Champion at WrestleMania 40. Unfortunately, that might not be happening anymore by the looks of it.

Cody Rhodes’s WrestleMania status is now uncertain due to speculation about The Rock’s potential return to the squared circle. This development could affect Rhodes’s presumed role as Roman Reigns’s opponent at the Grandest Stage of Them all.

Despite all speculation, The American Nightmare has stood firm and unfazed, making it clear that he believes he will be in the main event of WrestleMania 40 and finally finish his story.

According to Sports Illustrated, multiple sources close to WWE’s Head of Creative, Triple H have indicated that Cody Rhodes will not headline this year’s WrestleMania. The sources suggest that Rhodes will not be able to finish his story at the Premium Live Event.

Cody Rhodes and The Rock’s recent backstage talk also sparked WrestleMania speculation. The Rock’s status for WrestleMania 40 after his TKO position has been revealed as well. We’ll have to see if Rhodes will truly not be able to finish his story at WrestleMania 40 this year.
