The Hard to Kill pay-per-view was a pivotal event for TNA Wrestling, signaling the beginning of a new era. Afterwards, TNA Wrestling taped quite a few episodes of their TV show, with the debut episode seeing an increase in viewership.
According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, TNA iMPACT! on January 18 garnered 112,000 viewers and scored a 0.02 rating in the coveted 18 to 49 demographic.
It was further noted that it’s the show’s highest viewership since September 28. It was also the first episode with all new content since mid-November last year, so clearly TNA’s rebranding is already a success.
The January 18 episode of TNA iMPACT was the first episode of the show with the TNA branding. It featured a ton of memorable moments and solid action, with Will Ospreay vs Josh Alexander being the main event. It also featured Nic Nemeth’s first promo after his TNA debut.
We will have to wait and see how TNA will continue to grow in the coming months, as 2024 is already off ot a great start for the promotion in a big way.
