Santino Marella believes that TNA is on a trajectory toward securing a significant television deal in the future.
Currently, TNA Impact is broadcast on AXS TV and is also available on YouTube for Impact! Insider viewers. Marella shared his thoughts on the potential for a larger TV deal during an appearance on Busted Open Radio. Marella pointed out that the way people are consuming the product is changing and a big television network in the missing piece TNA needs to get the the next level.
“The way people consume the product is changing. People stream it, but there’s still that stamp of approval you need from a big television network. That’s the only missing piece, and they’re working on it. Once we get on a channel that everyone can see, that’s when we’re going to change gears and blow up to the next level, and it’s like everyone wants to be a part of it when that happens.”
Santino emphasized the importance of being involved before such a transition occurs, likening it to buying stock in a company before it experiences significant growth.
“I’m very confident it’s gonna happen, everyone is confident it’s gonna happen. You want to be a part of it when it happens. Not a week later. You gotta be there during that moment.”
Marella’s confidence in TNA securing a substantial television deal aligns with the belief of many others in the industry, and he sees it as a historic moment that fans and participants should aim to be part of from the outset.
