This marks the end of The Rainmaker’s illustrious tenure with NJPW, where he emerged as one of professional wrestling’s prominent figures. Fans are now eagerly speculating about which promotion will secure a deal with him next.
While speaking on his Q&A episode behind Fightful’s paywall, Sean Ross Sapp was asked about Kazuchika Okada making his way to WWE at the Royal Rumble. Ross Sapp made it clear Okada’s contract will expire on January 31st, thereby not making him eligible for the Rumble unless some special deal is done.
”His deal is up on January 31st, so he’s not eligible to enter the Royal Rumble or anything like that unless a special agreement is put in place, but he is also committed to dates after his contract is up.”
It is to be noted that WWE is eyeing Kazucihka Okada for WrestleMania 40. It remains to be seen whether Kazuchika Okada will debut in WWE this year, as that would certainly send shockwaves across the world of professional wrestling.
