WWE star and SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis has responded to Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns’ recent comments about not liking him.
In recent weeks, Nick Aldis has been in a power struggle with Roman Reigns, Paul Heyman, and The Bloodline on SmackDown. This tension escalated when Aldis made Reigns defend his title in a Fatal Four Way match at WWE Royal Rumble.
Roman Reigns expressed his feelings toward Aldis in a backstage video on the January 19 edition of SmackDown, saying, “I don’t like him. Nick Aldis, I don’t like him. We’re gonna figure him out. We’re gonna fix him.”
Nick Aldis responded to Reigns’ comments by retweeting the video and advising Reigns to focus on his challengers at the Royal Rumble. Aldis wrote:
“IMHO, it might be in your best interest to focus on 3 elite level @WWE Superstars trying to take your title at the #RoyalRumble…LIVE This Saturday on @peacock.”
Roman Reigns is set to defend the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Randy Orton, LA Knight, and AJ Styles in a Fatal Four Way match at the Royal Rumble. The event will also feature a United States Championship match between Kevin Owens and Logan Paul, as well as the Men’s and Women’s Royal Rumble matches.
The Royal Rumble takes place on Saturday, January 27, and can be viewed on Peacock. Ringside News will have coverage of the event.
