Logan Paul Training With Absent WWE Star Prior to Royal Rumble Bout

Logan Paul has been holding the coveted title of United States Champion for two months now and it was then confirmed on SmackDown that Kevin Owens will be his first challenger. Ahead of the Royal Rumble, it appears Paul has been training with a WWE superstar.

According to PWInsider Elite, The Maverick has been training with Cameron Grimes in Puerto Rico to prepare for his Royal Rumble bout against Kevin Owens. Grimes, who recently made his debut on WWE SmackDown after moving up from NXT, is highly regarded by Triple H and other officials.

However, Cameron Grimes has not been seen on WWE television for a while. Grimes did compete in a dark match against Gable Steveson on this past week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown.

Logan Paul and Kevin Owens have been embroiled in a bitter feud over the past few weeks, which saw The Prizefighter even legitimately punching The Maverick in the face.

Logan Paul will be defending his United States Championship against Kevin Owens at the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event on January 27th, so we will have to wait and see if he will be able to retain it.
