AEW Dynamite’s January 17th episode brought a big show with a World Title match. The Cagematch ratings are in for the match, but how did the viewership turn out?
According to Wrestlenomics, the January 17th episode of AEW Dynamite brought an audience of 891,000, with a .33 in the 18 to 49 demographic. This number was up from the previous week’s Homecoming episode from Daily’s Place.
This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite included a backstage segment with the Young Bucks, where they went into their new heel characters. The company also put on Top Flight vs. Private Party and Anna Jay vs. Deonna Purrazo.
This was quite a night for interviews as well, because Swerve Strickland spoke as well as Hangman Page. Both of those men want Samoa Joe’s AEW World Title. Of course, the main event match saw Joe defend his title against Hook.
The January 3rd episode of AEW Dynamite brought an overall average of 801,000 viewers, with a .26 in the 18 to 49 demographic. That number was down from the previous week’s average. The December 28th episode of AEW Dynamite brought in an overnight average of 843,000 viewers, with a .31 in the 18 to 49 demographic.
