On the January 16 episode of WWE NXT, the LWO (Latino World Order) consisting of Cruz Del Toro and Joaquin Wilde secured a victory over Duke Hudson and Riley Osborne, propelling them to the semi-finals of the Men’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. Making her return to NXT, Zelina Vega accompanied Joaquin and Cruz to the ring, adding an extra dimension to their presence.

In a WWE NXT Exclusive interview following their win, the LWO trio expressed their excitement and determination to win the Dusty Rhodes Cup. Cruz Del Toro conveyed their enthusiasm for the victory, marking it as just the beginning of their journey.

“We are so happy, excited. Tonight was just the beginning, the first step. Joaquin Wilde, Cruz Del Toro, Latino World Order. Our name is gonna be on the Dusty Rhodes Cup,” Cruz Del Toro exclaimed.

When asked about their preparations for their upcoming opponents, Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams, Joaquin Wilde confidently stated that they would prove any doubters wrong by defeating them and ultimately winning the entire tournament.

“To be fair, you are talking to the standout team right here. If there’s any doubts about that, we will prove them wrong when we beat Trick and ‘Melo in the Dusty Cup and win the entire tournament,” Joaquin Wilde asserted.

Zelina Vega, reflecting on her return to NXT, expressed her delight in being back and feeling at home. She emphasized her unwavering support for her stablemates and took shots at Santos Escobar and Angel on SmackDown. Vega referred to Santos as a “grade-school gangster” and expressed her focus on winning the Dusty Cup with the Latino World Order.

“It was so good. I mean, to walk out there and to get a nice little ‘Zelina Vega chant’ was pretty nice, and to have Puerto Rican flags in the audience, I mean, come on. It felt nice to be home, and I got to support my guys here, always. We always stick together. Now, as far as SmackDown goes, even just walking around here, seeing some little Zelina Vega lites, Santos is a grade-school gangster, if we’re really gonna talk about it.,” Zelina Vega said.

She continued, “Everything that he is is made up, and he has no respect. As far as Angel goes, I’m sorry, I don’t really remember anybody that couldn’t make me money. What I will say is that we have bigger things to worry about. So now, guys, let’s make sure that the Latino World Order wins the Dusty Cup.”

The LWO seems determined and confident in their pursuit of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic victory. How do you think they will fare against Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams in the semi-finals?
