Ash By Elegance Explains Meaning Behind New TNA Wrestling Name

Dana Brooke showed up at TNA Wrestling’s Hard to Kill event, and the world took notice. They also saw that she has a new name, a three-word moniker, Ash By Elegance. That gimmick also received a lot of criticism as well, before she was even able to do anything on television.

That new Ash By Elegance gimmick was panned by fans in brutal fashion already, because they claim it’s a Toni Storm rip-off. She has a lot of questions to answer about that new persona, and the name is also quite interesting.

While speaking to Busted Open Radio, Ash By Elegance explained her new name. It is a different side of her, one that she hasn’t been able to show fans yet.

“Ash by Elegance is a different side of me, but I try to live my life every single day as being super elegant. Elegant is a word, but I feel like it has a variety and many multiple meanings. It’s classiness. It’s elegant. It’s beautiful. It just means so much that I’m definitely gonna bring that element into the ring and show everyone what class and elegance truly means.”

The former Dana Brooke also explained that she spoke with Mickie James and Trinity Fatu about joining TNA Wrestling before making her final decision.

“Trinity was a co-worker of mine back in WWE and I love the progression she had made. She was actually one of the girls I had spoken with. before making an appearance on TNA and she’s like, ‘Girl, this is the place for you. You have so much untapped potential that TNA will be able to bring it out in you.’ Another person that I had spoken with was Mickie James and Mickie was like, ‘This is the place. You have so much potential and TNA is gonna bring it out of you and you have a locker room of badass women to perform with.” 

We will have to see what Ash By Elegance will do in TNA Wrestling. She seems to have determination to make an impression, and she’s not going to let anyone or any opinion stand in her way.

Ash By Elegance has years of WWE experience under her belt, working with some of the best talent on the planet. Only time will tell how far she will go in TNA, but fans are paying attention to her next steps.
