Seth Rollins showcased his workhorse mentality on RAW by defending his title against Jinder Mahal. However, he suffered a potential injury during the match and now we have an update on what’s next for him.
On this week’s Monday Night RAW, Seth Rollins defended his WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the main event against Jinder Mahal. Numerous fans were rooting for the Modern Day Maharaja to secure the victory, but Rollins prevailed in the end.
As reported earlier, Seth Rollins potentially suffered an injury to his left leg during the bout but powered through the match and finished it. It was added that he could eventually put weight on the injured leg backstage.
While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer talked about Seth Rollins’ potential injury status. Meltzer noted that Seth Rollins will be undergoing an MRI to determine whether he suffered a serious injury or something minor.
“I just know he’s getting an MRI. Then we will find out. I was told it could be something minor or it could be something worse. We won’t know until the MRI result comes back.”
Seth Rollins also had a noticeable limp during his promo after this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW went off the air. It remains to be seen whether Rollins suffered any serious injury to his left leg, as that could spell disaster for his WWE plans.
