WWE boasts several top stars who have gained recognition in other promotions, particularly in Japan. Notable names such as Asuka and Io Shirai have achieved significant success in WWE, and there’s anticipation that Giulia could follow suit. Amidst contract speculation, her negotiation status with WWE has been revealed.
In case you weren’t aware, WWE has wanted to sign top Japanese star Giulia for years. It was reported that Giulia is expected to pay visit to the WWE Performance Center. However, she has yet to visit the Performance Center.
Giulia also previously revealed the overseas limitations she would have to face if she worked outside Japan. The Japanese star also downplayed the potential of signing with WWE in the past.
While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer talked about Giulia’s negotiation status with WWE. Meltzer revealed that WWE hasn’t offered her any contract, as early as two weeks ago.
“Giulia never got an offer, at least as of a couple weeks ago. Like two weeks ago. For whatever reason, they didn’t go after her. I don’t know why.”
It was previously reported that Giulia would unlikely debut at the Royal Rumble. Judging by how WWE still hasn’t given her any contract yet, perhaps they have reconsidered signing her for the time being. Only time will tell whether Giulia will make her way to WWE in the future.
