Dolph Ziggler was released from WWE back in September and he waited until 2024 to get things started. After his NJPW debut, Ziggler made his TNA debut at Hard to Kill last week. Now, he explained why he felt TNA was the perfect fit for him after his release.

In the main event of TNA Hard to Kill, Alex Shelley defended the TNA World Title against Moose. The event concluded with Moose securing a victory, resulting in a title change, and he was crowned the new TNA World Champion.

After Moose’s victory, there was a shocking appearance by Dolph Ziggler, who attacked Moose from behind. Following the assault, Ziggler made a notable moment by ripping off his shirt in the crowd, revealing a TNA t-shirt, adding to the unexpected turn of events in the event.

While speaking with Sam Leterna on TNA’s Instagram, Dolph Ziggler shared his excitement about feeling wanted in the wrestling world after his release from WWE. Reflecting on his time to think during the past few months, he expressed a desire to extend his legacy and embark on a new chapter.

Ziggler revealed that the multitude of people reaching out to him made him feel like a wanted man, igniting his enthusiasm. He saw the TNA Hard To Kill event as a fitting opportunity to make a significant impact, viewing it as a perfect fit for the next chapter of his career. Ziggler emphasized his eagerness to back up his words in the ring and contribute to the resurgence of TNA.

“I had a lot of time to think in the last three, four, five, six months, to where, what can I do to extend my legacy, but also have an entirely different chapter, a different mindset, a different person? I said, I really feel like I’m a wanted man because the day I left my last job, I had so many, I’m so lucky that I had so many people reach out, not to say thank you or whatever, none of that stuff, congrats. A bunch of people reached out instantly and said, ‘We want you here.’ I go, man, it is great to feel that.

I’m very fortunate and lucky that people [said], ‘How can we get you? What can we do?’ I was like, I’m kind of a wanted man, it got me more excited, like I’m back in, okay. I was like, ‘I could show up and be a hired gun here. I could take this guy out, and we could go run. I’m figuring out, where could we go, and I watched TNA go to IMPACT and become TNA in this special moment at Hard To Kill, where this is a coming-out party for TNA again. I go, that could be a perfect fit. Hopefully, I can back it up in the ring, other than just talking about it and showing up.”

Dolph Ziggler also vowed to become a World Champion during the TNA Snake Eyes television tapings. Ziggler also made his in-ring debut against Zachary Wentz during the TNA Snake Eyes taping. Fans expressed their excitement to see him in TNA, and there is anticipation to observe his journey and whether he will achieve World Champion status again.
