Daniel Garcia’s Time In AEW May Be Running Up

AEW contracts are very interesting, and details can sometimes be hard to confirm. Although Tony Khan has handed out a few contracts in recent memory, it appears that he is holding out on Daniel Garcia.

Daniel Garcia mentioned that his AEW contract is running up during the AEW Worlds End post-media scrum. That brought on natural questions about what he might do next in the pro wrestling world. It appears that he isn’t locked into any AEW deal.

During his Backstage Report podcast on his paywall, Sean Sapp noted that he has head that AEW does not have a new contract for Daniel Garcia at this time. This is very interesting, especially considering how much attention Tony Khan has given him.

“When I asked, I was told that they did not have a new contract for him.”

AEW has lost some big names already, and they certainly don’t want anyone else departing that they can use. At this time, it appears that Daniel Garcia’s status with AEW is up in the air.
