AEW Collision Results (1/13/2024):

The opening package for the show airs.

Adam Copeland’s music plays and he comes out to the ring. Copeland calls out his opponent. Lee Moriarty’s music plays and he comes out with Shane Taylor hyping him up with a video package. Lee gets on the mic and calls himself the prizefighter of Shane Taylor Promotions. He says he is going to make Copeland tap out. Copeland says they better back up what they are saying.

Adam Copeland vs. Lee Moriarty

The match begins and Lee takes down Copeland. Copeland attacks Lee in the corner. Lee knocks Copeland out of the ring. Taylor attacks Copeland while the referee is distracted. Lee sends Copeland into the ring.

Lee goes to work on Copeland. Copeland slams Lee on the mat. Copeland knocks down Lee. He hits the face buster on Lee. Copeland with the reverse DDT. Cover! 1…..2…..kick out. Copeland climbs the top rope but is thrown off. Cover! 1…..2…kick out. Lee locks in the border city stretch. Copeland gets to the rope.

Lee climbs the top rope but is stopped by Copeland. Copeland hits a fallaway slam off the top rope. Taylor distracts Copeland and Lee attacks him. Copeland spears Taylor. Lee hits him with a suicide dive. He goes for a dive and misses. Copeland attacks Lee viciously. Copeland hits a backbreaker and locks in the crossface and Lee taps out.

Winner: Adam Copeland

Copeland gets on the mic and says he is coming for Christian Cage.

Lexi interviews FTR and Daniel Garcia. Cash says they will get along fine. He says tonight is about revenge. Dax says they have like mindsets and they love this. He says tonight is about a fight. Garcia says Collision is where he needs to be to grow. He says House of Black will get what’s coming to them.

Lexy interviews Sammy Guevara and Jericho. Sammy says all great things come to an end tonight. Jericho says Starks and Bill have done a great job as champions but it ends tonight. 2

ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship: Brian Cage & Gates of Agony (c) vs. Lance Archer & Righteous

Lance Archer’s music hits and he comes down to the ring. The Righteous’ theme song plays and they walk out to the ring. The Mogul Embassy’s music hits and they come down to the ring with Prince Nana.

The match starts with Cage and Archer in the ring. Cage with a suplex on Archer. Archer comes back with a lariat. Cage hits a German suplex on Archer. He tags out but Archer hits a crossbody on Kaun and he tags out. Vincent knocks down Kaun.

Kaun hits a bodyslam and he tags out. Liona hits a splash on Vincent. He attacks him in the corner. Kaun tags in and continues the assault. Both men exchange strikes. All men get in the ring and brawl with each other.

Dutch with a crossbody on Kaun. He tags out. Kaun hits the DDT on Archer. He hits Dutch with a dropkick. Archer chokeslams Kaun. Cage hits the Death Valley Driver on Archer. Vincent takes out Cage and. Dutch hits Liona with the Bossman slam. Dutch dives onto the Mogul Embassy. He sends Kaun into the ring. Archer sets him up on the top rope. Prince Nana tries to get involved but Jake Roberts knocks him out. Kaun tags in and hits a diving headbutt. Cover! 1…..2…Cage makes the save.

Vincent locks in the guillotine but is driven into the corner. Liona hits Vincent with the pounce. They slam Vincent. Cover! 1…..2…..Archer makes the save. Cage takes out Archer. Kaun slams Vincent. Cover! 1….2…kick out. Kaun hits the mountain for the win.

Winner: Mogul Embassy

After the match Prince Nana gets on the mic and says they are the greatest six man tag team champions. He says he heard Bullet Club Gold talk about going after their titles. He says Jay White couldn’t beat Swerve in the Continental Classic. He says the Mogul Embassy challenge Bullet Club on Dynamite.

Lexy interviews Preston Vance. Roderick Strong interrupts and wishes him good luck. Vance asks why is he wishing him luck. He says he will beat Strong next week after winning the title from Orange Cassidy.

Dustin Rhodes vs. Willie Mack

Dustin Rhodes’ music plays and he comes out to the ring. Willie Mack’s theme song plays and he comes down to the ring.

The match starts and Dustin hits Willie with an arm drag. He then hits an uppercut. Mack attacks Dustin in the corner. Mack with a moonsault. Cover! 1….2….kick out. Mack climbs the top rope and goes for the frog splash but misses. Dustin hits the Canadian destroyer. Dustin with a power slam. Cover! 1….2…..kick out. Mack attacks Dustin in the corner. Dustin comes back and hits the Cross Rhodes. He then hits a twisted neckbreaker for the win.

Bullet Club Gold are backstage. They mock the Mogul Embassy. White says Mogul Embassy have been getting pretty confident. He accepts the challenge and says the title will be coming back with them.

Hook has arrived in the arena.

Renee interviews Dustin but he is interrupted by the Patriarchy. Cage says if Dustin is a friend of Copeland then he is his enemy. Dustin says he wants the TNT Championship and he challenges him to a title match on Dynamite. Cage says Dusty was a legend in this business but no one calls Dustin a legend. Dustin says he is going to destroy Cage.

“Hangman” Adam Page vs. JD Drake

“Hangman” Adam Page’s music hits and he walks to the ring. JD Drake’s music plays and he walks to the ring.

The match starts and Drake knocks down Page. Page takes down Drake. He goes to work on Drake. Drake chops down Page. Page attacks Drake in the corner. He hits a moonsault on Drake and follows it with a shooting star press. Drake rolls to the apron. Page dropkicks him. Page goes for a dive and misses. Drake knocks him down.

Page sends Drake to the apron and hits him with a lariat. Page dives onto Drake and sends him into the ring. Page hits a crossbody on Drake. Cover! 1…..2…..kick out. Page hits the Death Valley Driver. Cover! 1….2….kick out. Drake slams him and hits a cannonball. He goes for a moonsault and misses. Page with a moonsault on Henry. He then hits a buckshot lariat on Drake for the win.

Red Velvet vs. Deonna Purrazzo

Donna Purrazzo’s music plays and she comes out to the ring. Red Velvet’s theme song plays and she comes down to the ring.

The match starts and Deonna knocks down Red Velvet. Red Velvet hits her with a dropkick. Cover! 1…2….kick out. Deonna locks in the fujiwara armbar but she gets to the rope. Deonna hits her with a dropkick. She sends her back into the ring. Deonna slams her and locks in a submission move but Velvet escapes. Velvet sends Deonna into the ropes.

Velvet attacks Deonna in the corner. She goes to work on Deonna. Deonna with a pump kick to Velvet. She then hits a side Russian leg sweep and locks in the fujiwara armbar and Velvet taps out.

Hook vs. Kevin Mathews

Hook’s music plays and he walks to the ring.

The match begins and Hook hits a German suplex. He then hits an exploder suplex and Mathews rolls out of the ring. Hook with another T-bone supplex on the entrance ramp. He sends him into the ring and attacks him viciously. Hook then locks in the redeem and Mathews taps out.

Winner: Hook

FTR & Daniel Garcia vs. House of Black

House of Black’s music plays and they come down to the ring. Daniel Garcia’s music plays next and he walks out. FTR’s theme song plays next and they join Garcia and they want to the ring.

The match starts with Dax and Buddy Matthews in the ring. Buddy attacks Dax in the corner. Dax comes back and attacks Buddy. Dax tags out and Cash hits a brain buster. Cover! 1….kick out. Cash tags out and Garcia continues the attack. Black tags in.

Black takes him down. Garcia sends him out of the ring. Brody King comes in and is sent outside as well.

*Commercial break*

Garcia sends Buddy outside the ring. Both mean tag out. Cash with multiple lariats but it has very little effect. Dax tags in and FTR hit King with multiple lariats. Cover! 1….2…..kick out.

Kind comes back and slams Dax. Cover! 1….2….kick out. King tags out and Black attacks Dax in the corner. Black takes down Dax and goes to work on him. Dax goes for a diving headbutt and misses. Buddy tags in stomps him. Buddy tags out and King sends Dax into the barricade. King sends Dax into the ring. King slams Dax. Buddy tags in.

Dax recovers and hits a DDT. Both men tag out. Garcia attacks Black and Buddy. Garcia sends Black out of the ring. King sends him to the apron but Garcia drags him out and kicks him in the face. Cash dives onto House of Black. Garcia hits the brain buster. Cover! 1…….2…..kick out.

Garcia comes face-to-face with King. King slams to the mat. FTR hit the pile driver. Cash slams Buddy. Black and Garcia knock each other down. Black sets up Garcia in the corner. Garcia lies up Black and tags out. Dax with a bulldog off the top rope. Cover! 1…2….kick out. Dax sets Black on the top rope. Dax this a supple and Garcia goes for the splash but he gets his knees up.

Black locks in the kneeler on Dax who gets to the ropes. King hits a splash on Cash against the barricade. Black climbs the top rope but is stopped. Buddy tags in. Black takes out Garcia. Buddy with the powerbomb. Cover!1….2…kick out. Dax hits the piledriver. Cover! 1….2…..kick out. Black kicks Dax and Buddy hits the curb stomp for the win.

Winner: House of Black

King attacks Matt Denard and sends him into the ring. Black kicks him in the face. Cash and Garcia use the steel chair to chase them away. They hit the shatter machine on King.
