CM Punk had quite a ride on top of WWE’s merchandise charts since his return at Survivor Series. Now, he has been knocked off the top of that pile by an unlikely Superstar.

CM Punk has been a consistent merchandise seller for WWE since his return at Survivor Series in November. He has already announced that he will be in this year’s Men’s Royal Rumble Match, as he wants to earn a championship match at WrestleMania 40 and finally get that main event match.

Surprisingly, this week’s top merchandise seller for WWE is R-Truth, as part of the Judgment Day group. He is currently involved in a storyline with Finn Balor, Rhea Ripley, Damian Priest, Dominick Mysterio, and JD McDonough. Notably, R-Truth is not officially recognized as a member of the group.

WWE fans still bought up R-Truth’s new t-shirt. That might be a very good sign for their angle as well. If you remember, Sami Zayn’s epic story with the Bloodline started much in the same way.

CM Punk will be in the Royal Rumble Match with (so far) Cody Rhodes, Shinsuke Nakamura, Bobby Lashley, and Drew McIntyre. Speculation suggests Punk is the likely favorite to win and potentially challenge Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Title. We will have to see what’s next for Punk, and if he can regain his spot on top of WWE’s merchandise sales list.
