TNA Wrestling’s Hard to Kill event is going down on January 13th, and we will have full coverage here at Ringside News. The event is also set to include a big surprise signing, but one massive name has been ruled out.
Mike Johnson did a Q&A on PW Insider, where he was asked about TNA’s big surprise at Hard to Kill. He was specifically asked if Mercedes Mone is on that list.
Mercedes Mone did not arrive in AEW yet, although she is expected. Johnson clarified that, while anything can happen in pro wrestling, Mone is not the big TNA Hard to Kill surprise.
“While certainly anything can happen between now and Saturday the 13th, we are told she is not the talent TNA is currently teasing.”
We will have to see what Mercedes Mone does next. She may end up in AEW, because that is her expected landing pad. Talks with WWE reportedly died down due to financial reasons.
Trinity is expected to leave TNA Wrestling after Hard to Kill. A WWE return is then expected for Naomi, and the Royal Rumble may be in her future. Despite her close relationship with Mercedes Mone, and the fact that The Boss was at The Glow’s Impact debut, that isn’t expected to bring Mone in for her last match.
Now, we can only guess when fans will see Mercedes Mone once again. At this point, don’t put too much money into any bet that she will be at Hard to Kill.
