On the latest “Grilling JR” podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross discussed his plans for AEW Revolution and revealed the expiration date of his AEW contract, among other topics.

Jim Ross mentioned that there were plans for him to be present in Greensboro, NC, for AEW Revolution. He also noted that during discussions with AEW President Tony Khan, it was agreed that he should call Sting’s last match, adding significance to his appearance at the event.

Regarding his AEW contract, Jim Ross shared that it is set to expire on February 14th. When Conrad Thompson humorously suggested that Vince McMahon might be calling him, Ross responded with a light-hearted remark, “I can’t come til the 14th.”

Thompson followed up by confirming that Valentine’s Day is the date when Ross’s contract with AEW comes to an end, to which Ross replied in the affirmative.

Jim Ross expressed his hope to renew his contract with AEW, stating, “I’d like to finish up in AEW. I got to be realistic about things, Connie. We talk about these birthdays, and I’m the same age as [Nick] Saban and [Bill] Belichick and all these cats. I love working with AEW.”

In addition to contract details, Ross also discussed his improving health and mentioned feeling much better these days. He shared his excitement about seeing old friends at AEW Dynamite events at Daily’s Place, including the legendary Ric Flair.
