Goldberg has been gone from WWE since Elimination Chamber 2022 and he recently criticized Vince McMahon for denying him a retirement match in the company. In light of Goldberg’s words, a former WWE personality claimed that Goldberg’s retirement match was nothing but a vanity project.

Goldberg is currently a free agent following the expiration of his WWE contract. The status of his retirement match continues to be a significant talking point. Ringside News exclusively reported that Goldberg was not happy about the status of his retirement match.

Goldberg recently expressed his frustration with Vince McMahon, accusing the former WWE Chairman of denying him his retirement match. The wrestling legend alleged that McMahon had made false promises regarding the retirement match, leading to his outburst.

While speaking on his podcast Story Time with Dutch Mantell, the former WWE personality claimed that Goldberg’s retirement match was nothing but a vanity project and that no one cared about it either.

“Guess what, nobody gives a s***. That was strictly a Goldberg vanity project that he wanted, which I don’t blame him for having. But, Vince gave…gave what he needed to give to get him to appear.”

In addition to his comments about Vince McMahon, Goldberg also revealed his attempt to be part of Sting’s retirement match. Only time will tell whether Goldberg will ever get his retirement match somewhere down the line.
