Tony Khan had quite an adventure on social media, as the AEW head honcho sent out a slew of tweets that were chastised in a big way. He was triggered by the USA Network’s Twitter account taking a dig at his love of Cagematch ratings, and that sent him down quite a path. Now, it appears that it may have blown over as just another TK meltdown.
Tony Khan’s tweets, although they were entertaining for pro wrestling fans all over, were certainly noticed within AEW as well. That being said, it is said that the topic isn’t a heavily-discussed one backstage.
Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that Tony Khan’s latest Twitter meltdown wasn’t actually a big deal backstage. It may have been discussed last night, but that is not the case right now.
“The Tony Khan tweets have been brought up among some we’ve spoken to in Jacksonville, but they claim it wasn’t a heavy topic of discussion as much as it was last night.“
AEW has a big Homecoming episode of Dynamite planned for fans from Daily’s Place. We already have a few big matches to look forward to, and Tony Khan’s attention is likely not on Twitter today.
