Nikkita Lyons of NXT came back from injury last year and immediately began feuding with Blair Davenport. She faced Davenport on NXT this week but ended up losing, which led to a major 391-day streak ending.

Lyons has history with Davenport after the latter took her out of action after a parking lot assault. This led to a match on NXT this week as Lyons looked to settle the score. It didn’t turn out the way Lyons wanted.

Initially, Lyons dominated with a vertical suplex and a powerful kick. However, Davenport quickly shifted the momentum by focusing on Lyons’ injured leg, exploiting the damage from an earlier collision with the ring post.

In the closing moments, Davenport delivered a crucial chop block to Lyons’ leg and followed up with her knee finisher, securing a decisive and impressive victory. With this, Lyons suffered her first singles defeat in 391 days, the last being against Zoey Stark on December 14, 2022.
