Charlotte Flair is out of action with a knee injury, and WWE fans won’t get to see The Queen perform at the Royal Rumble or WrestleMania. There is an expected timeframe for her return, but it will require that fans be a bit patient.

Charlotte Flair is currently in the process of recovering from an injury sustained in a match against Asuka on WWE SmackDown. Despite managing to complete the match, she required assistance to leave the ring.

PW Insider reports that the injury is believed to involve a strained neck, and it adds to her recent health challenges as she underwent surgery for a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus suffered during the December 8th SmackDown episode.

The Queen’s current recovery timeline is estimated at nine months, which is what WWE originally said upon her injury announcement on SmackDown. It was also noted in the report that Charlotte Flair is expected to leave Birmingham later this week.
